Today a little calm … we will visit Kelonia, the observatory of sea turtles. Since the ban on fishing and the protection of sea turtles, a former turtle farm has been transformed and has become a center for environmental awareness and turtle protection. The center is home to mainly injured turtles who are treated there before they can be re-implanted after rehabilitation in their natural environment. Awareness is very much with the children of Reunion with many school activities.
Regarding photography, we are in picturing captive animals… not great … but we’ll do it.. These prehistoric animals have a very endearing side. And as it is urgent to limit the damage and avoid their complete extinction, I propose some shots to participate a little … even from distance.
