In summer 2015 we were leaving Glasgow for a tour in Scotland. Glasgow, Loch Lomond, Oban, Glencoe, Fort William, Glennfinnan, Mallaig, Isle of Skye (Armadale, Portree, Uig, Carbost, Dunvegan, Talisker), Kyle of Lochalsh, Dornie, Inverness, Avoch, Aviemore, Pitlochry, Edinburgh in full festival, then return Glasgow.
Back home with a huge stock of photos (which have not been all treated yet), we have only one desire: come back there. The best photo spots are of course very well known and the Internet is full of images of this wild and unspoilt nature, but the impression remains striking as soon as we land on the Isle of Skye, we want to stop every 100 meters and when we decide to get back in the car because the others get impatient, a last glance shows us that the light has already changed and it is urgent to trigger a new series … In short, you need at least to spend a few years there.
